How can you attract the most visitors to your Adsense oriented site? The answer is simple - create a niche. If you can develop a niche with good advertisers and high paying keywords then you can beat the competition. There are easy steps to finding a niche and creating your site, if you follow each one, you can't go wrong.

Finding your niche

The key to finding your niche is to find a topic or field in which you have a particular skill, depth of knowledge, or great interest. That way you won't get bogged down with hours of research and you won't get bored writing about it. If you're struggling to come up with ideas make a list of all your interests. Include things you enjoy, your skills, and things you know about and would be interested in learning more of. Because of the number of websites already out there on the internet, once you have picked your topic you need to specify. It's no use developing a website on general topics like cooking or health. You need to develop a niche within a field where the competition is not so heavy, yet there is still a high demand.

Keyword search

Once you are satisfied with your niche, it's time to so some research to find out if there is a demand for that theme before you start building your website. If you want visitors to hit your website, you need to attract them by meeting their needs. The way to do this is by using targeted keywords throughout your text, particularly in the upper third of your website. The keywords must also be relevant to the theme of your niche website. To find out how much competition your niche website will have, do a search for your niche-keyword at Google and see how many results you get. If you end up with millions then the competition is too stiff and you should find another topic. If your results are somewhere between 10,000 and 500,000 then you're on to a winner. There are several available tools to help you with keyword searches, a very popular tool is such as Instant Keyword Research or Keyword Elite.
